Tao Wang is a Young Principal Investigator at the Haihe Laboratory of Brain-Computer Interaction and Human-Machine Integration. He received his Ph.D. from the School of Medicine, Tianjin University, under the supervision of Prof. Shuang Liu and Prof. Dong Ming. During his doctoral training, he was supported by the China Scholarship Council as a joint Ph.D. student at the College of Computing and Data Science, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, where he worked in the SenticNet lab with Prof. Erik Cambria. He was selected for the first cohort of the China Association for Science and Technology Young Elite Scientists Sponsorship Program, Doctoral Student Special Program.
