
Tao Wang is a Young Principal Investigator at the Haihe Laboratory of Brain-Computer Interaction and Human-Machine Integration. He earned his Ph.D. from the School of Medicine, Tianjin University under the supervision of Prof. Shuang Liu. Supported by the China Scholarship Council, he completed joint doctoral training at the College of Computing and Data Science, Nanyang Technological University, working in the SenticNet lab with Prof. Erik Cambria and Prof. Rui Mao. He was selected for the first cohort of the CAST Young Elite Scientists Sponsorship Program, Doctoral Student Special Program, has led or contributed to multiple provincial, ministerial, and national research projects, and contributed as a core member to MetaBCI, China’s first open-source BCI software platform, and the “Shengong-Shenxin” depression diagnosis system.
